Spend a full day in Barcelona! You will have plenty of time to visit the main monuments of the city: Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, Picasso Museum, Gaudí's houses, Plaza España, Camp Nou!

Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and one of the most popular tourist destinations. Along with London and Paris it's one of the most visited cities in the world.
Come with us to find out why and discover this beautiful city you will never forget!

Plan of the day:
-Departure from Valencia early in the morning
-After arrival to Barcelona we start with guided tour with local guide
-After guided tour you have free time to enjoy Barcelona
-Departure to Valencia in th afternoon

You will have an incredible day discovering unique places, the most beautiful modern buildings you couldn't even dream of, a city that's full of history and at the same time modern and cosmopolitan. This capital is a must see; it's a cultural hub home to many artists, painters and architects. If you've not been to Barcelona you are missing out on something incredible!

We will enjoy all that Barcelona has to offer. It's only one day but with the Happy Erasmus experience we assure you that you will see plenty and get to know the most famous parts of the city. You will fall in love!

We will then visit the centre, we will walk along the famous Ramblas (be wary of pick pockets), then visit the cathedral and the Gothic area. The old part of the city will surprise you and you will sometimes feel like you are in the pillars of the earth. The old town is huge, and almost completely pedestrian with winding narrow streets that surround the medieval buildings and lead to large squares with unique historical buildings. Not forgetting the Mar cathedral with its impressive stained glass windows. The entire gothic area is a like a monument in itself and you won't be able to stop taking photos. The Ramblas, and the Paseo de Gracia are the preferred streets to walk along. Also don't forget to take a look at the Batlló building by Gaudí, you haven't seen anything like it!

It's likely that you haven't really paid much attention to art or architecture before, but this is because you've never seen the modernist buildings of Barcelona! If the Sagrada Familia leaves you indifferent then you are not human! A sublime and unforgettable work of art, full of history, secrets, mysteries and stories. You will definitely be impressed. The cathedral is still being built today because although it is one of the oldest cathedrals it is only built using donations from people and does not use government donations or donations from other organisatons.
Barcelona is a city along the coast. The Ramblas take you to the port where you can see the Colón monument and the marine area.

There are a huge number of varied food options and you can find both cheap and pricier menus. But we reccomend you bring your own food to make the most of the day and to not spend too much money, and eating on the beach is always nice!

A great day guaranteed!
