In Calpe: hiking in the Peñon d'Ifach and contemplate amazing views! We will enjoy its beaches with crystal clear waters. Then we will visit Benidorm - the most famous holiday town of Costa Blanca. It is the 2nd city in the world with the most skyscrapers after New York.
Do you like the beach? Well the fact that you're here in Valencia suggests that you do! And very nearby to Valencia you can enjoy one of the best beaches in Spain.

This Sunday we are going to one of the best and most exclusive beaches in the Valencia region: the beach of the Peñon de Ifach Natural Park.
It's waters are crystal clear with a beautiful sandy beach where you will find bars, restaurants, shops and toilets.
We will sunbath, swim and eat on the beach or even go scuba diving!
We will not only have an amazing day at the beach but if you like walking, mountains and sepctacular natural panoramic viewpoints you will also have the opportunity (which is optional and free) to climb the Peñon de Ifach. Without doubt this is one of the most impressive walking routes in the surrounding area of Valencia. The Penon is a rock thats 332 metres high with impressive views of the sea. There is also a viewpoint from half way up which is very easily accesible. and if you are adventurous then you can climb to the very summit where you will feel like you literally have the world at your feet!
You can bring your own food and drink if you don't want to spend much money, but there is a variety of places to eat along the beach where you can get fish, paella, platters etc,
In summer we can enjoy its incredible beaches and the warm and crystal clear water.
One of the sports that are practiced a lot on the stone beach that we can find behind the Penion d'Ifach is Snorkel! An unforgettable experience! Spectacular sea beauty! You can contend the fish in their natural environment, the seabed and its flora.
Snorkeling is practiced with basic diving instruments and does not require any large investment of money. You need to have fins, a mask and a tube - you can buy them at Decathlon or at any Calpe beach shop. Do not forget that to practice this activity you must know how to swim;)
