We’ll start our adventure in Castell de Guadalest, a tiny mountain village that looks like it’s straight out of a postcard. It’s officially one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain — and you’ll see why.

Perched high above a turquoise reservoir, Guadalest offers panoramic views, charming stone streets, and a mix of history and local life. You can explore its medieval castle, check out quirky museums (miniatures, torture, salt shakers, etc.), or simply wander through local shops filled with handmade crafts and souvenirs.

It’s also one of the best spots for unforgettable photos — with the blue lake and mountains in the background, every corner is picture-perfect.

Next, we’ll head to the coast to visit Altea, a whitewashed Mediterranean gem known as “the Santorini of Spain.”
