Denia and Tallada Cave

On this route we will visit caves full of water, see archaeological remains and visit the famous city of Denia!

Before visiting the city, we will start the day with a route that will take us to the "Cova Tallada" a spectacular cave with different rooms and where the sea water enters and that forms arches and columns forming a landscape that will be the envy of your followers. from instagram ;-)

The cave is partly artificial, since since the XXII century, in the Muslim era, it was used as a quarry to extract stone for the construction of castles and other buildings (perhaps even since Roman times).

Accessing the cave and some section of the route will require a minimum of agility and the use of your arms to hold on to the chains and rocks, which means that this route cannot be considered very simple, but very fun!!!



After the beautiful route we will relax on the beach of Denia and we will be able to visit the city. It was a port city since Roman times and the closest port to the Balearic archipelago. Its beautiful castle next to the marina was an important fortress for protection against pirates and today one of the jewels of the city.

Denia is one of the most touristic cities on the Alicante coast and famous for its beaches and nightlife. But also for the beauty of its location and monuments.

We will have free time to get to know the city in all its facets and spend an unforgettable day with many new friends.
