Come and discover one of the most traditional and famous festivals in Spain that attracts millions of tourists every year. We are going to get to know the city of Murcia and experience first-hand one of the most famous Holy Weeks in Spain.

Holy Week or "Semana Santa" is one of the most famous and traditional festivals in Spain. Valencia is one of the cities where it is least celebrated, perhaps because of its proximity to the Fallas... but fortunately we have the possibility of moving to Murcia where we can experience one of the most famous in Spain in the front row.

We will have time to visit and get to know the city of Murcia, capital of the Autonomous Community of the same name, we will see its cathedral, we will cross its bridges and the Segura river and we will be able to know its gastronomy.

And of course we can see some of the processions that will go through its streets during the days of Holy Week. During Holy Week, religion and tradition come together. The most devout and religious wait all year to bring to the streets the most representative figures of the Catholic religion.

During each day of Holy Week the last days of the life of Jesus are represented:

Palm Sunday: Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
Holy Monday: The day that Jesus expelled the merchants from the temple and the anointing of Mary (Lazarus's sister) to Jesus.
Holy Tuesday: When Jesus anticipates the betrayal of Judas
Holy Wednesday: The day that Judas met with the assembly of wise men to plan the betrayal of Jesus in exchange for 30 silver coins.
Holy Thursday: The last supper of Jesus with his disciples is represented.
Good Friday: The passion of Christ is commemorated, as well as his crucifixion and his death.
Holy Saturday: It is the wait for his resurrection. Tamien is known on holy Saturday as the Easter Vigil.
Resurrection Sunday: The day of the resurrection of Jesus is represented.
