​The Sierra de Espadán Natural Park is the largest protected area in the Valencian community. It's comprised of 19 towns and extends along the coast.

​Even though it doesn't have a high altitude it's orography is quite steep with a lot of ravines and ridges. It has a lot of charming expanses and hiking routes.

But in addition to its natural wealth it has another great treasure; is its rich heritage. It has castles, mills, old cold storage facilities, stone pavement roads, civil war trenches and medieval villages (Veo, Ain, Almedíjar or Eslida).

Furthermore we cannot forget the sustainable economy with ancient crafts that have perfectly developped in balance with nature, such as personal consumption agriculture, cork mining, and the production of honey and cheese ...
