The Sierra de Espadán Natural Park is the largest protected area in the Valencian community. It's comprised of 19 towns and extends along the coast.
Even though it doesn't have a high altitude it's orography is quite steep with a lot of ravines and ridges. It has a lot of charming expanses and hiking routes.
But in addition to its natural wealth it has another great treasure; is its rich heritage. It has castles, mills, old cold storage facilities, stone pavement roads, civil war trenches and medieval villages (Veo, Ain, Almedíjar or Eslida).
