Happy Erasmus' main objective is the integration of exchange students in your host country. To ensure that integration is successful it's crucial to learn the language, at least at a basic level so that you can communicate with the majority of people you meet.
In addition to the formal lessons that we already offer in the office we want to encourage independent learning and informal methodologies accessible for all.
Among these methods, we offer the possibility of using the Tandem language method, which involves the exchange of language between two people who help each other through a conversation in both languages in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.They are called tandem bikes because they are able to work together to move forward together, in a relaxed manner. You can plan targets, timetables and even the activities you do. Throughout all this you always you can count on the support and advice of Happy Erasmus to make this experience as rewarding and enjoyable as possible.
And it's fun as well being able to learn and perfect the language and helping someone else is a way to get to know more people when you've just arrived in a new city, to get to know the culture and the traditions, and it's always a good excuse to get out of the house and to find something to do with your language exchange partner.
