This event starts at 12h00 and ends at 13h00: after and before we have pre & after party in Buñol. Then we will return to Valencia to rest a little, to take a shower and prepare for a closing event.

2) At night, after resting and showering, we will have: La Tomatina After Party with live DJs and people from alllllll the planet! Seriously, the stories that begin with the phrase how "once I, a Japanese, an Australian, an Argentinian, an American and a Spanish took shots of tequila in an after party" come out of these parties and the After Party party of the Tomatina is already a mythical party and known throughout the world.

And rightly so, it is organized only once a year! There is no excuse for losing it.

The signal for the beginning of the battle is a firecracker that is launched on Wednesday at 12 pm from the City Hall. With this signal in the streets, several trucks loaded with the protagonists of the party - ripe tomatoes, which are the ammunition of this war. The participants of the festival run under a rain of tomatoes to the trucks, fly the ammunition and the show begins.

Participants from all over the world, including Australians and Japanese (crazy, crazy, crazy ...), gathered in a mythical battlefield in which there are NO ALLIES! ALL AGAINST ALL!!

More than 40,000 people in the mother of all battles ... 100,000 kg of tomatoes as ammunition and us in the middle!!! Really the craziest party in Spain ...
We will leave from Valencia by private bus in the morning, we will drink a lot of sangria and prepare for the great battle!

A little of history:
The first tomato massacre was recorded in 1945, when at the end of the Buñol summer festival a group of young people because of negligence or just for fun brought a giant figure down from one of the parade participants. The boy who was inside this figure did not appreciate the joke and began the fight, to which all his friends quickly joined. The crash occurred near the stalls with vegetables and the tomatoes immediately became missiles. The police dispersed the fighting participants and forced them to pay for the spoiled vegetables, but exactly one year later the young people arrived at the same place again but already with their tomatoes. Gradually the shooting with tomatoes began to be common throughout the city, and despite the dissatisfaction of the police, more and more people took part in them. In 1950 the local authorities had not prevented the implementation of the Tomatina - so they started calling that day. But the Spaniards were not always limited to throwing tomatoes at each other, sometimes the missiles collided with some influential person, which led to the banning of the party in 1957. The frustrated Spaniards made a funeral of the Tomatina, in which they carried a huge coffin full of tomatoes through the streets of the city with their funeral procession, according to the rules, accompanied by an orchestra and mourners. Under pressure from citizens, in 1959 the local authorities were forced to lift the ban and recognize Tomatina as the official festival of Buñol.

La Tomatina will be the best party of summer and memories for a lifetime are guaranteed!
