09:h00 a.m.: The Algar Fonts and Guadalest

TWO WONDERS IN THE PROVINCE OF ALICANTE: THE SOURCES OF ALGAR AND CASTELL DE GUADALEST

We are going to spend an incredible day in nature and we are going to visit one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

Day plan:

- We will leave Valencia early and go to Fuentes de Algár
- We will spend the whole morning in this natural park, we will sunbathe, bathe, pick-nick
- Then we will travel to Castell de Guadalest - one of the most charming towns in our country
- We will return to Valencia for dinner time

LAS FUENTES DE ALGAR, a spectacular landscape, waterfalls, springs that gush from the rock, wooden bridges, sun, the “tolls” (pools of water), picnic area... you have everything to spend an incredible day! !

They are located in the course of the Algar river (name of Arabic origin meaning "cave") and it was declared a protected Wet Area since 2002.



Later in the afternoon we will go to a mountain village, but with views of the sea: EL CASTELL DE GUADALEST. It is officially one of the most beautiful towns in Spain and the landscapes and views are spectacular. Between mountains and next to the Guadalest river that forms an impressive reservoir of blue waters at the foot of the town.

We will walk through its small streets. It is also possible to visit the Castle or one of its many museums (miniatures, torture, salt shakers...) (these tickets are not included).
